Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of ThreadWell, provided by Bridgewell Studio, a trade name of EXV Consulting LLC ("Bridgewell," "we," "us"). By signing in to ThreadWell, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are a draft pending legal review and are not yet published for public reliance.

Who this is for

ThreadWell accounts are provisioned by a school for its staff and for the parents/guardians of its students — there is no public sign-up. If you were given access to ThreadWell, it's because a school authorized it for you.

Your account

• Keep your login credentials to yourself — don't share your password or sign-in link with anyone else.
• Staff accounts are tied to a specific role (teacher, aide, or related-service provider) that determines what you can log and see.
• Tell your school if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Acceptable use

You agree to use ThreadWell only to:

• Log or read accurate information about a student you are authorized to see, as part of your role at the school.
• Message staff or parents about that student's day.

You agree not to: attempt to access students, staff, or parents outside what your account is authorized for; enter false or misleading information; or use ThreadWell for anything other than its intended purpose as a home-school communication tool.

Not a medical record or emergency system

ThreadWell is a communication log, not a medical record system, an official education record, or an emergency alert system. Medication and health information logged in ThreadWell supplements — it does not replace — a student's official health plan, IEP/504 plan, or your school's existing medical and emergency procedures. Do not rely on ThreadWell to communicate anything urgent or time-sensitive; use your school's normal emergency channels for that.

Content you submit

You're responsible for what you enter into ThreadWell being accurate and appropriate. By submitting a log entry or message, you give Bridgewell permission to store, process, and display it to the other people your school has authorized to see it, solely to operate the service.

Our service

We aim to keep ThreadWell available and reliable, but — like any hosted service — we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and the service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond what applicable law requires. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bridgewell isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ThreadWell. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Termination

A school may deactivate a staff or parent account at any time. We may suspend access to ThreadWell for conduct that violates these Terms or puts other users' data at risk.

Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where required, notify the schools we work with directly.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
